It's all about the wine- enjoy some on-site wine tasting
With the aim of enhancing the knowledge of green wines and the region, you can try 7 types of green wines, called "Vinhos Verdes da Quinta." The green wines from the Quinta can be tasted in the middle of the vineyard, if the weather permits; while sharing traditions: Quinta da Lixa Vinhão is served in a typical “Malga." You can taste single varietals, blends and a sparkling of Quinta da Lixa.

A practical and very interactive activity, which enhances knowledge of grape varieties and their contribution to the production of green wines. The result is the creation of your own batch and a souvenir of the wine with your own signature. The program begins with an overview of the national wine industry and the Vinho Verde Region, a succinct explanation of how to produce white wines and their styles while sampling the 5 single varietal wines. After the tasting of the lot, you begin to bottle your wine. A traditional corker allows the placement of the cork stopper "Monverde", followed by the creative part: the production of the label. This includes brand creation, drawing and painting and ends with the choice of the color of the capsule that best stays in the garment and the capper closes the production of the lot.

There will be a shuttle bus going to and from the church in Amarante (15 minutes away) for those of you that don't want to drive

Our ceremony will be held at Igreja de São Gonçalo in Amarante, located 15 minutes from the hotel location. Amar is the portuguese verb to love, and it is perhaps fitting that it should be the first part of the name of this attractive town. Indeed the whole town has a magical fairytale feel to it, with elegant turreted buildings and trees drooping into the river. It is definitely somewhere to see while in the area. We will have transportation for our guests from the venue to the church for our ceremony
some of you may have had a late night ! the early birds enjoy some breakfast the day after the wedding celebration!
